Mr. Jeffrey Osei ANtwi founded PHONE & FONECITY as a sole Proprietorship in May 2002

The company started with just one sales outlet at KOKOMLEMLE, a suburb of Accra with a staff strength of three(3). It was just one of a few mobile phone centers in the country then. The trading business grew steadily and has been well managed.

As the usage of mobile phones and accessories increased in the country, so did the company's trading activities.

Consistency in supply of quality and genuine mobile phones and accessories to our wholesale and retail customers,excellent repairs, decoding and unlocking of mobile phones, good customer care, sheer determination and aggressive marketing-advertisement in electronic and print media earned us our status as the country's most reliable and household name in mobile phone business. We have not looked back ever since.

Presently, we have staff of twenty-five (25) with (5) sales outlets and (2) repairs decoding/unlocking centers at various locations in Accra.

Head Office Location

Our head office is located at Darkuman Junction, off the main Kaneshie-Winneba road. However, the C.E.O. has temporally relocated his office to  the head office annex, which is located at Adabraka, opposite the Calvary Baptist Church.

Competition

PHONE & FONECITY seeks to improve its leadership position in the mobile phones and accessories business with an eye to dominate the market nationwide. Our demonstrated strengths are in supply of quality and genuine products, our professionally trained technicians, emphasizing customer relations and offer free one-year after-sales service. We do repairs,decoding and unlocking with perfection.

The liberalized economy has attracted cheap low quality products into the market. These products have intensified price competition in the market.

However, PHONE & FONECITY is still the market leader in the mobile phones and accessories business due to superior product quality and brand recognition.

Management meets regularly every quarter to review operations and finances.
